Great service, seafood platter was good but could have used seasoning or salt and pepper... but that is on the table... tater sauce and cocktail sauce were good

Still have one of the best burgers in town! New Longhorn is a serious step up in overall quality when you take the time to read about it. With a party of four today and I had the shrimp poboy this visit. Good solid, decent size shrimp. Fried and seasoned right, (would have liked a few more, but that's always the case!) Bread/roll was fresh and lettuce, pickle and onions were good. Tomato slice was a bit over ripe for me but wasn't bad. Accompanying fries were great as usual (if you like thick cut!). Wait staff was great, talkative and friendly. Overall the best lunch stop in the area.

It's a lot better than the last time I was there about 18 months ago. Yes, I had a chicken fried steak. While meagerly presented, was delicious with a mushroomy cream gravy. About 12 bucks for a chicken fried steak dinner. Can't think of a place in Port Lavaca with a better one.

Ruby was a fabulous waitress. The food was most excellent, especially the salad and salmon. The menu doesn't tell you, but the jalapeno poppers are filled with cream cheese and wrapped with bacon. Way better than fried!
