McCarthy’s Irish Pub

Since they reopened, the food and service has been so much better. I had a burger (which was top notch) and a cold beer at the bar while watching the game. Found my new favorite bar in Brownsville. 10/10.

I went there this past Thurs. and the music was very annoying. I've been there when the music has been better. We ordered the burger meal. Bacon was flappy, it wasn't crisp how bacon is supposed to be. It was a almost raw. The onion rings and fries were good. They had 50% some drinks. I asked if the frozen margarita was already premade. The waiter assured me they make the drinks when requested. The margarita I got tasted like water w a bit of lime flavor. It was horrible! Ambience is good.

First time here and this place is good. I ordered the Mexican burger, fried mushrooms, and a Negra Modelo. This place is an Irish Pub and they didn't have their Guiness tap working. I understand that sometimes the tap breaks, but they didn't have any other Irish beers.

The habanero ranch is no joke.
