(October 19, 2021, 1:01 pm)Ricardo’s now has expanded to 3 or 4 franchises in various locations in Brownsville. When they located in the downtown area they became very popular because of the central location near offices and county buildings. Hence, the restaurant was always popular and patrons had to sometimes to wait in a queue. Service in all of the restaurants is excellent and the food is always very good. Their home-made chiles are excellent.
Concern: they tend to over salt their food and their soups are always too salty, which is why I subtracted 1 star.
