Taqueria Sheko's Brownsville

So much extra with these tacos!! Growing up I would eat these style with the family when we crossed into Mexico. This has been the closest I’ve gotten to that feeling. The home run was the tomato sauce!! Stop in and try it for yourself!

Had never been here before! Food is tasty and prices are good. The restaurant is small , very clean and great service.

The waiter has my mom's order memorized and the staff is super friendly. Love the red tomato sauce

First time eating at this taqueria. Staff is very friendly, professional and respectful. Ordered a to go docena de tacos de bistek by phone and it was ready in about 10 minutes (excellent time in filling order). The order was accompanied by complementary salsa verde and salsa roja and grilled onions, but no limes. The tacos were fresh and comparable to other tacos from local taquerias; however, lacked flavor-a little flat in taste. Unfortunately both salsas were extremely spicy "muy picoso" to the point that my wife and I could not enjoy eating them. I will be visiting again to try different tacos or other dishes. Parking is limited; excellent location.
