Antojitos Mexicanos

Came down to Harlingen for a weekend and I love my Mexican food so we always look for a GOOD Mexican Restaurant and we found this one. We had the enchiladas verdes and the entomatadas and they were DELICIOUS! Each plate comes with 2 sides of your choice (beans are complimentary). The price was good for the amount of enchiladas! I give this restaurant a 5 star! The service was also great; you order at the register and sit down. Will definitely return for more!! :) They don’t do breakfast though:(

Visited the Edinburgh location and thought to try the Harlingen spot. I was a little caught off guard when they only offered papitas(fries) as a side when you can have refried beans.

We ordered:
*Flautas de carne deshebrada- Crispy flautas topped with salsa de aquacate. The salsa makes this plate. Without it, wouldn't be complete.

*Tacos de bistec- A decent order of taquitos with all the traditional toppings.
Fast service and affordable.
Gave it a 4 since I've tried other locations and their sides fell short. Main concern, charro beans had weenies.

I ordered the bistec tacos and was asked if I wanted everything on them. Yes, I said and was asked if I wanted cheese and avocado for an extra charge. So for 6 tacos, free water, my total was $9.17. That's more than I want to pay for tacos. They brought out a cup of complementary beans but was so hot I had to let them sit there for awhile so I didn't burn my tongue again. Took around 25 minutes to get my tacos and the weren't busy.
Lady working there was friendly and the beans and tacos were very good.
