El Rancho Restaurant

My first time here, I got off and ordered menudo and two tacos. The girl at the front desk had no personality and was very unpleasant to talk to. Didn't smile at all. I couldn't hear what she was saying, I had to ask her 2 times to repeat herself. She liked at me as if she was irritated. So it was whatever, did was good, customer service sucked.

Went for lunch and ordered a Brisket plate special. The Brisket arrived but it was covered with bbq sauce. I would have preferred no sauce on it. Not specified and when asked the waitress what it had on it, she didn't mention the sauce. The Brisket was soft and edible, will try it again and ask for the sauce on the side. The potatoes on the potato salad were hard and lacked flavor. I would omit that all together next time.

This was not the restaurant I chose to eat at and for good reason, but my family and I ended up here regardless. The food and service was subpar. Not worth the money spent. My bistec meat in my tacos was charred as heck and dry. And my other family members didn't enjoy their food either. I also saw an older disabled man trying to get in the building and through the crowded chairs and tables to sit down only to have to wait like 5 minutes for a worker to bring him menu. It wasn't that busy because the servers were just behind the bar standing about at the time 😧 I was going to get up to flag a waiter for him when one of them finally noticed him and walked over to give him a menu and ask what he wanted (yeah, just like that in Spanish) 😕 I would never come here again and would actually warn family and friends not to come here.

Order pickup, enchiladas and Carne guisada plate. Food was ready upon arrival, 10 minutes. Decent serving size. Food was warm, looked good. Rice and beans, were good. Carne guisada was soft and juicy. Enchiladas were good. Customer service was friendly. It wasn't too crowded for post 11:00pm on a Saturday night. Got home and enjoyed my food. Not many options for late night eating, but El Rancho is a good option. I'd recommend to those with late night cravings. That's my opinion, come try for your self.

The place could improve if they maintain professional appearance dinne inn eating area. But I've notice people don't pay attention because of hunger issues, lol. Prices are $$ but depends on what you order. Taste was good, spices were there! Oh, at the time our order was placed 10 mins later we were already digging in the plates. Wow! Waitresses were busy but we seen them happy and singing with no excuses. Come on your own risk. Enjoy
