La Playa Mexican Cafe

This will always be my favorite place! I come here all year long and always during my bday week. Marlena, the hostess is always so kind and greets me and my family with a big smile and by name! She is wonderful. The food is always on point. Love the margaritas too. I didn't catch my servers name but she was great too! I know she was busy but she handled it great! Thank you so much!

Came here with my family my sister recommended the House Favorite; the Fried Stuffed Avocado 🥑 which was AMAZING!! I got it stuffed with Beef Fajitas, I did enjoy the special beans on the side and the fajita taco it comes with. I was so hooked and inspired that I went home making my own Stuffed Avocado!! The restaurant has improved and has been beautifully remodeled recently, I always get great customer service when I go. Thank you!

Nicely decorated mexican restaurant. The male server was not happy, helpful, welcoming or attentive. I can tell he only wanted our orders and for us to get out. The margaritas were cheaper during happier hour but I tried the Reina margarita which is top shelf and bigger but save the money and get the happy hour margarita. For dinner I had the fried avocado with meat and cheese inside with queso on the side. They also gave a Tortilla soup and a fajita taco with rice and beans. The food was good but wasn't the best. I think if I tried a different menu item, maybe it'd be a better impression of the food they cook. I'd recommend you try it and hopefully you get a better waiter than we did.

This was a special dinner and they made it special for us. Actually, I believe each and every guest gets the "special treatment" here. I had shrimp and they are wonderful. The beer is cold. The food is hot. You will enjoy this place. Oh, by the way, ask for the green salsa.

First time eating here! Not disappointed! Friendly staff, and the food was served pretty quick for it being 5 people. Everything tasted great, highly recommend the stuffed/fried avocado! Worth the price for sure. Looking for any excuse to go back now.
