First time here and will definitely be coming back. Food was delicious! The best pollo en Mole I've had. Shredded chicken in mole sauce was slightly spicy and had a great taste.
GF really enjoyed it as well and she wants to come back 🙂

Best fajitas I've had at a Mexican restaurant. The margaritas were also well worth the $5.

Edit: We came back and had another excellent experience. We ordered the fried fish plate, 2 nacho supremes, and El Gallito's Tacos. The fish plate was a lot bigger than expected and definitely worth the money.

3 stars for the fast friendly service 2 stars for the food. Heard great things about this restaurant. It's normally very busy and you have to wait to be seated. 02/14/22. Went in for lunch, the chips and dips were super yummy and the Ice tea was strong. The main course came out and that's where the fun ended. We ordered 3 different meals and all 3 were BLAND. I mean zero flavor. I didn't even eat half of mine because it was that bland and horrible. Not sure what kind of Mexican food they are trying to service, TexMex, Mexico City, or coastal South Mexico? Whatever it was, it missed the mark.. Heck it missed the entire target! I really wanted to like this establishment and add it to the RGV food format. Unfortunately, it will be checked off as No bueno... Plotted. Scouts Out.

Everything was delicious here. They have the best authentic Mexican enchiladas that remind me of my childhood. Grilled Tilapia and cheeseburger were delish!! The fish was oh so flaky 'n fresh and the beef patty had rich flavor 80/20 mix and a wonderful granular texture.....what a burger should be. Rice & beans on point. Always fresh ingredients, great service and clean, relaxed atmosphere.
