Gigi’s Wing Shack

Best wings in San Benito, GiGi's wing shack has been our go to hometown favorite restaurant. Food is super delicious. They have several special of the day.

This was our first time ordering from Gigi's Wing Shack. We ordered the Texas Hot (perfect Buffalo heat), spicy BBQ, mango habanero (very subtle flavor, but we liked it), and naked for the kids. I hate when wings are over fried so there's hardly any meat left, but these were great! Only thing I'd change is the ranch, but that's just me. We'll definitely be back!

Food critics- Gigis wing shack

Traveling south in Texas to find great and amazing food from the “hole in the wall” mom and pop restaurants and let me start off by saying landing in the valley(RGV) a small town between McAllen and Brownsville is a small town called San Benito(home of the great Freddy Fender) there’s this small restaurant called Gigis wing shack, known for their wings but also have many other options on the menu and yes that includes authentic Mexican dishes. Let me tell give uou insight of the food, the burger, wing, and fries combo is most delicious with the wings coming in various sauces with amazing flavor in each and every bite, the fries are crispy and crunchy, the burger patty is perfect and not overly cooked. And then there’s the enchiladas with rice and beans, not your typical enchiladas the flavor is full and so is the rice and beans. Being so close to the border of Mexico, the food is most definitely as authentic Mexican as is comes. The staff is amazing and friendly, the food again is so delicious, so if your every in the area or just passing through to go the beach in south padre island then you must stop by and enjoy the delicious food that is served here. YOU WONT REGRET IT!! I give this small but big in flavor restaurant at 10 out of 10.

Just ate at Gigi's Wingshack ! I have had the pleasure of dining and eating at plenty of wing places BUT these wings hit the spot . Everey bite was amazing full of flavor crispy saucy perfection Cooked just right with the homemade sauce to top them off oh there is plenty napkins on the table but why bother you can't waste the sauce ?!! Here's the menu with plenty variety oh BTW try the Genisis sauce it is goood.good..
