I loved my visit! Didn’t even mind having to wait for my order because it was communicated to me multiple times on how long it would be and that it would be fresh. Very friendly staff and managers. They were very friendly with my son which I always love. Will definitely be returning next time I’m craving chicken!!
I tried out the store for the first time tonight. If you want to know what a restaurant is really like, go when it's close to closing! I ordered a mixer and a gallon of tea. That is 8 pieces of chicken, a bunch of tenders, family fries, family okra, and dirty rice. Before I even ordered I waited in the drive through line for almost 15 minutes. It would have been longer, but two vehicles in front of me left. The young lady on the intercom was polite and upbeat. Once I got around to the window, the worker there was also very friendly and upbeat. Another young lady brought me my gallon of tea, and she was also friendly and upbeat. Both had big smiles. I started timing from the end of when I placed my order to when all my food was in my vehicle. That was 15 minutes and 45 seconds. The ladies updated me on my order, and apologized for the wait. In the mean time 2 more vehicles left the line. I got the food home to a group "starving" teens. I did not eat any of the food just asked the youth how they liked it. Chicken was "good" but not great, the same with the tenders. They loved the fries, biscuits, and the okra was pretty good. They did not try the rice. They tea was reported as tasting old. None of the associates were wearing name badges, that would be nice to recognize them for customer service, and I noted some paper towels on the floor that a couple people walked over, stood on top of while leaning on the countertop, but never picked up. If you got time to lean, you got time! Overall it was a good visit, and I will return when I can also enjoy the meal for myself.
Great first experience, food was good service good and competitive price. Consistency is everything, so let’s see what happens next visit. Overall pleased!!
Just opened in our neck of the woods. Haven’t eaten there yet but will very soon. We must support local business and help them through their opening and assorted growing pains that are sure to follow. Shop local! Eat local! Tell the manager/owner how they can get and keep your business. They will respond to stay alive and competitive. I’m giving them 5 stars on the hope they will be great.
