What an awesome Google find while traveling-not far off i40!! The food was EXCELLENT!! (Chicken Fried Steak and white gravy, also, Hamburger Steak with mushrooms and onions with brown gravy. The fried sugar biscuits were YUMMY!) The service was GREAT and the price was much less than expected!! A true GEM!

Everything here looks so good. Got the grilled chicken breast sandwich with tots which was phenomenal I literally couldn’t put it down. Treated myself to the fried biscuit with strawberry jam and that did not disappoint. Service was great. Would drive out to Groom again just to eat here.

What a great place for breakfast. Passing through on my way to Florida. You know it's a small southern town when the waitress calls you sweetie. 👍🤠 The omelette was perfect as was the coffee and toast

WOW!! This is another gem I found just 40 miles from Amarillo in Groom, TX. Litteraly the best country cooking out there! I visit this family owned establishment every time I'm out that way! The wait staff and service is the best I've ever seen! They treat you like family! They keep bbq sauce and season salt on the table! The atmosphere is AWESOME. I could go on and on about this little slice of heaven. I've experienced their dine in and take out. Great burgers and awesome skin on French fries you've ever had! My mouth is litteraly watering just thinking about it! Too much goodness to list. If you're ever within 5 miles of this place, stop in! I guarantee you'll have an awesome home cooked meal and a great hometown experience!😁!

This is great little easy to find country restaurant. Locally owned and run. I visited here on a work trip with my wife, even though it’s the only restaurant (other than DQ), and it was full of locals on their lunch break, we were looked after and treated well. I had the steak scraps with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables, my wife had the Wade burger with extra mushrooms and fries. We topped it off with a fried biscuit. The was all VERY YUMMY. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re in the area.
