(February 26, 2019, 5:54 pm)You're just not going to find much better home-cooking style food (or any style food) in these parts. There's not a single bad thing on the menu. The portions are generous. The prices are reasonable. The staff is incredibly friendly. Put it all together and the experience is second-to-none. I can't stop going back (even if it isn't great for my waistline)!

(February 23, 2019, 11:19 am)My family just loves this place. Great chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak. I must tell you they have amazing salads . I have tried the Cobb and the Chef, both were delicious. They use spring mix lettuce , bacon and fresh boiled eggs. Banana pudding is smooth and cakes are moist.
A very important thing to make your visit is a welcome and smile. They are consistent. -
(February 16, 2019, 12:02 am)Had chicken fried steak, French fries, corn bread, broccoli w/rice & ocra. Was really good. Best Corn Bread I've eaten at a restaurant in a long time. Sweet Tea, too.

(January 31, 2019, 2:32 pm)This place is the BEST for lunch, and occasionally dinner (Thursday & Friday)! Their food is home cooking at its best - excellent flavor and great choices offered! The atmosphere is warm & inviting with an Aggie flare, and the people there are very friendly! Can't say enough good about this place!
