The Toasted Yolk Café - Mont Belvieu

It’s so loud in here. Nothing to absorb screaming toddler sounds that ruin the ambiance of brunch and mimosas. Geez.

The food was great! The bacon is so good, perfectly cooked, and a little sweet. The sausage I was first brought I didn’t try but looked like frozen sausage patties so I asked to change out to bacon. The hash brown casserole is tasty. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the toast was crunchy and buttery. Delicious but pricey. Why is breakfast cgarged at such a high fee? It’s the chewiest ingredients.

We will be back but wish other people wouldn’t let their babies scream and that there was some sound absorbing materials in the decor.

We had 2 coffees, Shrimp n Grits, and the Cajun Omelet. The grits were AMAZING, the omelet was good, but not my favorite. The coffee was the best we have had at a restaurant. The restaurant was clean and orderly. The staff was very friendly and our waiter was attentive. He was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu and had his own suggestions to offer. It was a little pricey for what we got, but the food was good.

We had a wonderful experience today at Toasted Yolk. The brisket scramble and California Club were delicious and our server, Olyvia was awesome! She was attentive to our needs and had a great attitude. Keep up the good work, Olyvia! We love the casual atmosphere here - it’s on our list of regular places to eat now.

When I heard they were opening a location in Mont Belvieu I knew I had to come and check it out. I arrived with a large party of 7 and got seated within the first 5 minutes on Sunday at 9:30am! Nice host staff, and the guy that was holding the door open was super cool (give that man a raise).
This location is fairly large with a nice outdoor patio, with a chill casual vibe on the inside. The food was definitely great, everyone enjoyed their meal and the kids were happy. I ordered the Cowboy Scramble, and it was a decently large size portion! Overall I will definitely be returning to try out more items on this large menu.

whoa! so glad this place is here! unexpected staffing levels surprised me! never seen so many people working at a restaurant! it did help with fast service and a quality experience. everyone looked so nice! hope it stays like this! our waitress Sara Sue was a pure pro! welcome! southwestern power bowl and southern fried Arnold were a delight and the maple bacon doughnuts were insane! had to buy a mug ! coming back soon w my daughter!
