    We stop here every visit to nearby High Island (for Spring's bird migration) except the once we came on a Sunday (not open). This year the food was as good as ever, but they must have been shorthanded - the empty tables were covered in dirty dishes, we werent given a menu for 10 minutes (the second one arrived 5 minutes later). Fortunately they got the table next to us cleaned off just as our food arrived. 4 stars for good history and current food, -1 for the poor service and dirty atmosphere this visit.

    Food is so good! I live close by and always like to go here. Enviroment is comfy. And overall a great place to eat and enjoy time with friends/family. Only thing that upsets me is I love guacamole and you pay like 5 to 7 dollars for little scoops of it here. I know you used to get way more then now. But other than that I would suggest eating here.
