Matt’s Rancho Martinez

Matt’s in Allen is as delicious as the ones in Austin and Lakewood that I have been going to for years! It was the first time for my husband and it will be our new go to Tex mex place! Corina was our server and she was so nice and courteous and accommodating. We had the Bob Armstrong dip to start and wanted to take our time prior to ordering. We ate in the bar area and got there mid-afternoon on a Sunday. Corina was great! When we were ready to order, Corina made sure that we got exactly what we ordered and kept checking on us throughout our visit. Our food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. We will definitely be back and will ask for Corina every time!

We had to wait several minutes to be seated. The hostess was not in the front of the house waiting for customers to come in. She was somewhere in the back. The restaurant had several other customers already seated and in various stages of service. No other parties were waiting to be seated when we arrived.
The restaurant was clean.
Service was excellent. Our waitress Corina was very good. She is well versed in the hospitality industry expectations. She took our orders efficiently, checked back on our table multiple times as we ate, and brought the check in a timely manner. Very little wait time, efficient and timely service.
Our order was prepared fast in the kitchen. Very little wait time from ordering until the food was being served.
Food was good. Chips and hot sauce were good. None of the foods we ordered stood out as exceptional from other Mexican food restaurants in the area.

First visit to new Allen location and it was amazing as usual! 5 stars for sure!

They need to get some signs out ASAP. Not sure how the staff is making any money as the place is huge but unless we were specifically looking for it, we’d never have know it was there!
Tamara was our favorite waiter in Garland and thrilled she’s moved to this location.
Perfect Patron Margarita smaller now but still tasty.
Salsa still AMAZING! I can’t get enough….my favorite in DFW.
Bean and cheese nachos were fresh and hot. First time to order them and loved them.

Chicken fried steak was spot on…Perfectly cooked - we get it with gravy and their gravy is so good.
Not one thing I could complain about!

Food was delicious! Served hot and very tasty! Vico our waiter was very knowledgeable and provided professional service! A great place and awesome atmosphere! Look forward to another great Tex-Mex experience 😋
