Sugarbacon Proper Kitchen

We had an excellent experience tonight. Our server, Junior, was on top of our needs and took excellent care of us. My darling husband has ruined me when it comes to ordering off the drink menu at most restaurants. I know my liquor and cocktails so when Junior approached us for a drink order I decided to go speak directly to the bar manager, Matt. I knew what I wanted but my friend (also ruined by my husband's cocktail knowledge and skills) was having a difficult time deciding on a drink. Matt answered all our questions, discussed various rum and gin they had available, and infused simple syrups. With Matt's help we were able to concoct a simple drink ( dark rum, pineapple juice, and basil infused simple syrup) for my friend. We appreciate the staff putting in the extra effort to accommodate us. Sugar bacon and deviled eggs were excellent starters. I had the ribeye tacos which were filled with a lot of meat and also excellent.

Sugarbacon was fabulous! I had the chicken pot pie and old fashion. The pot pie was amazing and the old fashion was spot on. My server Naz was timely, pleasant and friendly. I sat on the patio with my dog-o, he immediately brought her a bowl of water.

Decided to try the new location since I have not visited the McKinney location… it was a GREAT experience. The staff was very attentive and nice, the food was really good and came out fast!

I was really impressed with everything about this restaurant! From when I first stepped in until the last bite of my Hummingbird Cake dessert, I really had a great time. Comfortable upscale vibes, delicious food and drinks, and outstanding service. If you are looking for a good time in Water's creek you have to come here!

What an awesome new place to come check out in the Watters Creek area! They have an amazing menu full of upscale classics like short ribs, scallops, pork chops and much more. They have wagyu steaks and also dry age their own wagyu steaks in house. Their cocktail menu is outstanding and has something for everyone, and have excellent bartenders. They have many options for high end wines and also a full bar with a great selection of rare whiskies. This is going to be THE spot to be in Watters Creek, especially when there is live music on the weekends. This is perfect for celebrations or even upscale date nights. Definitely worth checking out! Can't wait to come here all of the time!
