Great food. Friendly service. Moderate prices. An excellent value.
I've been here about a half dozen times now. Each time i walk out satisfied.
Today i tried the Muscles appetizer. Fantastico!

The "Italian Villa" is the most pleasing location to replenish vital bodily nutrients. Although the name of this establishment is misleading, it is located nowhere near the country of Italy. Pasta is a strange chemical reaction that is indeed enjoyable once it is removed from the slimy tomato and dairy substance. The human digestive system is much more durable than our simple gliesian digestive mechanism. The oily tomato cheese "sauce" must be ingested intravenously via the nutrients administration protocol. The result is a nearly toxic dopamine level that renders space travel temporarily unsafe. Compliments to the chef.

I give out stars based on how impressive and accomplished a restaurant is within its class. A dive barbecue joint and a fancy pants French restaurant could both get the same rating based on how well they achieve their goals and how enjoyable I find the dining experience.

I'm giving Italian Villa five stars for offering a relaxed and unpretentious meal with helpful friendly service (thank you, Kylee) and surprisingly good food. My husband and I decided to split the Chicken Maximo which came with bread, butter, and salad. The salad was pretty basic but fine, much what I was expecting. The rolls were flavorful. Kudos for bringing butter at room temperature for spreading. Our pasta dish was filled with tender chicken, asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes, and mushrooms. The only thing I would have changed would be able to have the option of ordering a cold beer or glass of wine. Our server informed me that customers can bring alcohol with them to have with the meal.

If my travels bring me back to Anna I'll definitely come back to Italian Villa.

Oh---and it's really well-priced as well.

I love the Chicken Murphy! Delightful seasoning and spices. The service always is terrific. The salad and dressing nicely made and generous in size. If they were in Dallas there would be long lines of people outside ready to eat! In tiny Anna though you can walk right in, choose your seat and be greeted by the finest staff. Enjoy- you will be back.
