Tender Smokehouse

Overall not a bad spot. I was in route heading out this way and decided to stop and try since I heard about it months ago. I had a brisket sandwich, side of Mac n chess and banana pudding for $16.24 which ain't bad at all. Brisket was moist and delicious as advertised by other people even before I added the BBQ sauce. The Mac n Cheese was delicious and well made. Now the banana pudding OMG the best I had so far and I had tried several. Gave it a 4 out of 5 only because lady with seating chart ignored me for whatever reason and had a customer point me to take out line, but still would return to this place as food was delicious. Definitely a good spot to try if your around as they have adult drinks and the atmosphere is laid back.

Amazing BBQ! And incredibly well run which is a welcome difference from the normal "fend for yourselves" mentality of some spots. Staff were all courteous and helpful.

The mixed brisket was just the right order, the turkey was perfectly smoked and moist, the cheddar and jalapeno sausage was some of the best I've ever had, and the pulled pork was a bit dry but still outstanding.

Definitely get the mac and cheese and the potato salad!

Excellent smoked turkey!!! It is definitely worth the drive if you like good BBQ! I can’t wait until they open the location in Frisco. The turkey salad was so fresh and delicious. The turkey was juicy and so flavorful. I loved the BBQ ranch dressing, too. The brisket was moist and tender, as was the pulled pork. The sausage was the best I’ve ever had. It has a crunch when you bite into it with a burst of flavor. The Mac and cheese needed a bit of salt but was tasty. The cole slaw was good but different than any I’ve had. I loved the sweetness from the pineapple. We will definitely be back!!

What a beautiful day to come sit outside with our dog on the patio. My husband ordered the burnt ends and I had the brisket sandwich. SO good! I was almost done with my sandwich before I realized I didn't put any BBQ sauce on it.....the meat was so tasty without it! Also loved the pineapple slaw. Will be going back again real soon.

Worth both the drive and the wait. I'm not messing around when I say these were the best ribs I've ever had. We will be back and bringing friends. The ambiance was nice and the staff were very pleasant. Talked the owner as we waited in line and he was the nicest guy. I cannot recommend Tender enough.
