"Le Lavendou"
Had a great meal on Friday night! I haven’t had their food since 1987 when it was Chez Gerard on McKinney Avenue and it did not disappoint! I had the French Onion soup and the sole with crab on top. I can’t wait to go back!
Went for French High Tea. The tea the waiter recommended was the English Breakfast tea. It was very good and paired well with the tea sandwiches. We tried the Provincial Garden blend next. I was not crazy about it, a little too strange a mix. I think it was the citrus in it I didn't care for. The last tea was the Hibiscus aux Framboises. Loved this tea. Went well with the top tier of sweets. This was such a fun experience. Will definitely be going again. Lovely atmosphere and the wait staff was excellent.
Beautiful place inside with a great street patio outside. Super French restaurant with a very classic menu. Everything is fabulous, even if you don't usually care for fish, order the trout almondine. It will change your mind about fish. Superb restaurant.
A wonderful bistro with a great menu. If you want to experience a taste of France, this is the place. The decor is reminiscent of a typical bistro in France. It's personal and friendly with good service and food options. Definitely worth a visit!
