Andy's Frozen Custard

We love this place. We have to drive a bit from Melissa to get there but it’s always an adventure when we take the grand kids. They really enjoy the frozen custard better here then any other place else around. My wife and I go quite regularly because we can’t get the fantastic chocolate custard. They need to build one someplace in north McKinney. Lots and lots of new houses going up there. Please consider!

The ice cream is top notch! The drive thru is not pickup truck friendly. That thing is tight even by European standards.

This place is great if you're looking for a treat for the kids (or yourself). There is a large selection and everything is delicious. The only thing negative I can possibly say is that the people taking your order rarely write it down, they try to memorize it. Sometimes they do alright, but most of the time when they repeat my order they have something incorrect and I have to repeat things. BUT, it's always right by the time they get it to you at the window, so that's a plus.

Absolutely love the custard at Andy's! Service is great and employees are always friendly. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because topping portions are inconsistent, other than that everything is great.
