Cane Rosso

This is hands down the best pizza I have ever had. I travel quite a bit and I am kind of a pizza geek. I even cut the safety hook off my oven at home so I can cook neapolitan style pizza at 850-900f. Nothing else compares to Cane Rosso. I dragged people here for work and they complained and complained... Until they had some pizza. Now I can't keep them away from this place.

They have several locations, I've been to a few with similar experience at all of them.

Excellent Neapolitan style pizza. The crust is fantastic. The topic selection is great. The salad is very good as well. They have several locations. We prefer the Frisco location but have eaten at two locations. Highly recommended!!

They had a good lunch special for a reasonable price. The pizza was ok, but not great. The Caesar side salad was better than the pizza. Pizza is very thin crust and the waiter did let me know that it's more of a "fork and knife" pizza because the crust doesn't get crispy. There will be some char on the crust, so you should be aware of that before trying this place.

Finally had a chance to come by for morning brunch and we were not disappointed. The Mimosa and "spiked" Sangria were great starters. Ended up splitting the Honey Bastard and it was delicious. Wild combination of sweet and savory with a bit of heat (far less spice than we anticipated but still nice). Overall service, from greeting to table, was excellent. Mild Star-Wars-by-way-of-Texas decor strewn through the restaurant was a fun touch.

Decent Pizza, nothing to write home about. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and informative. I definitely enjoyed his banter. Portions were large so you definitely felt like you were getting decent value for the price. I'm not sure if I will eat here again, however with the quality wait staff and varied menu I should probably give them another try.
