Kotta Sushi Lounge - Frisco

Awesome date night spot. Great drinks and really good service.

It was packed, and they still seated us quickly and the food was out super fast. They had chicken nuggets and grilled cheese for the kids, and they loved it. The Kotta Smoked Salmon sashimi is the best thing on the menu. Fatty tuna is amazing and buttery and melts in your mouth, but still not as good as the Kotta Smoked. The Phoenix Roll comes out on fire and is good too. Had the Banana Foster, Chocolate Mousse, and Fried Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert. Had the Pineapple Fiz to drink. Everything was excellent. Service was great. Best sushi place around.

Kotta Sushi has long been a famous staple of Frisco cuisine. Different days of the week they have different specials on drinks or rolls. The Mardi Gras roll is delicious. Almost every time you go here it’s busy, even on a Tuesday night. I’m not complaining though because it’s definitely worth the small wait at the bar enjoying delicious drinks. Often I have dined with high maintenance customers that the staff handles with utmost patience.

Very good sushi. Recommend the samurai roll and Jackie Chan roll. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside on a beautiful spring evening. Our waiter did a good job.
