I love this place! Pots cost ~$13. At a lot of (non-buffet) hot pot restaurants in the area you can't escape some of the more "traditional" items like intestines and I always end up with items that I'm not going to eat. Pop pot has a bigger variety of options so there's something for everyone, even pickier eaters. I recommend the mushroom pot which comes with lamb.
Always wanted to try the hot pot. This is a must try experience. These ones were super tasty. I got the mild and it was still spicy for me but i was able to finish it up! . You have a choice of rice or noodles. If you go on the lunch time the have a drink included in the lunch menu. The tea can be either green, black, or brown rice. I personally didn't like the brown rice one. They also have free water. I had the pop corn chicken, and my friend had the Japanese one, that one is full of seafood. prices ranges from ~11 to 15 so around that.
Found this place and decided to try it since we were all craving some hot pot. It is at a food court inside the Ranch 99 Market. We arrived around 5ish on a Friday Night and only a few people there. There were 6 of us and we decide to share 4 pots.
We got 2 Taiwanese Style Pot, Satay Beef Pot, and Thai Style Pot. We got it Medium for Spiciness and for me it was to spicy. I shared the Satay Beef Pot and it was flavorful and had quite a bit of meat but mostly veggies. Everyone said their pot was good. The pots were pretty big for me to share with my husband as I don’t eat that much. It does come with rice or noodles. I believe it would be enough for one person. Don’t forget the sauce. Out of the two sauce they offer, I liked the bean pace sauce better than the soy sauce looking one.
Overall it was good. I would recommend and be back. It was not bad in pricing as well. We got 4 pots for $70.
Overall it
Went there last night with a group of friends, it was after 7 pm still crowded, took a while to find a parking spot. We ordered different kinds of hot pot, stinky tofu and Chinese sausage, everyone liked what they ordered. The variety, freshness of the ingredient and taste are all very good, and the price is very reasonable. The only minus point is the speed, the pot was ready one at a time, for a group of 8, it took quiet a while, by the time the last person got their food, the first one already finished. So if you going as a group, keep that in mind. Other than that, it was really good and definitely worth going back to try different flavors. Oh another thing is you have to pick up your food from the counter when it is ready.
