Reggae Pit Stop Jamaican Grill

Ok I’m speaking to the black folk specifically this food was just alright!!! It’s seasoned for the Frisco area this is not what authentic Jamaican food tastes like!!! It was pretty bland I had curry chicken yellow rice and cabbage and there was no distinguishing tastes of any of them they need to kick the seasoning up a notch but then they will most likely lose all of these great reviews????

Great cuisine!! Just finished the jerk salmon with yellow rice and steamed cabbage. It reminded me of my favorite Caribbean spot in DC....such memories! The food was delicious. Excellent service and food made to order. I'm a fan!!

Food was fantastic! Cross between sit down (everything made to order) and fast food (get your own soft drinks and utensils). Menu is concise (say five or so each appetizers, burgers, entrees), but all the basics are covered. Ambiance is clean and bright. We'll be back!

We wanted to try Jamaican and after searching various restaurants and reading reviews we decided on Reggae Pit Stop. We were there Friday evening, May 24th. We were a little apprehensive as there were no other customers at the time but we decided that it was early and we would give it a try. We had the jerk chicken with cabbage and rice and the jerk style wings. The food was delicious and had great flavor. The spice is flavorful and a little hot but not too hot. It’s kind of a sweet heat. We especially liked the the wings which had great flavor and a little more heat. Also the service was great and the person who took our order was very friendly and pleasant. The restaurant was clean and had a good vibe. We were happy with the food and service and will be back.

Came with a Jamaican friend and was introduced to the delicious chicken tacos. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Very fast and efficient service. Food arrived fresh, tender and was pleasantly displayed on the plate. Will definitely be back and will bring my kids. Clean, simple atmosphere where food is ordered at counter and brought to your table.
