Tender Smokehouse Frisco

Tender never disappoints. This was my first visit to the Frisco location, but I've been to the Celina location several times. Definitely the same top quality food and service at this location. There needs to be a Congressional investigation is this place doesn't make the next Texas Monthly top 50 BBQ joints in Texas.

I came here with my twins two yr olds and the people were very nice in helping us get what we needed for a great meal. We must of had 5 or 6 different employees come to make sure If we had everything we needed. The food was very good. Cant wait to try more.

Tried this place today. I had the Brisket sandwich and beans. Meat was moist and flavorful. The Texas toast was new to me, but I enjoyed the flavor. The beans were amazing! I loved the taste and bite. The BBQ sauce was tasty. I will definitely be back to try some more and have a beer (when the license comes through).

Great BBQ and sides. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you can't decide which meat to get, try the El Jeffe sandwich, it comes with 3-4 different meats. The restaurant is owned and operated by local people that grew up here.

So I understand what the fuss was about! The brisket is spectacular, maybe the best I've had...even keeping in mind the competition nearby. The sausages are finely smoky, with the jalapeño variety being not so spicy that the faint of heart must avoid it. The baked potato is humongous and loaded, and the mac and cheese is very nicely done in classic fashion. The folks working there are uniformly pleasant and helpful. The location, as is known from previous restaurants that tried and failed there, is a little out of the way, but if anyplace can make it work, it'll be Tender Smokehouse.
