This was my first time eating here and I loved it! The food was really really good and the drink I ordered was nice and stiff. ;) Oh and the service was phenomenal...everyone was wonderful, delightful and helpful! I'll definitely be back! I found my new Cajun spot! WoooHooo!

Oysters did not meet my expectations. But the crawfish sure did! Nice, friendly staff and a clean restaurant. Drinks are a little strong. But it could have just been our groups bartender.

I had the catfish dinner. No hush puppies came with so I was a bit sad. This is my second visit. First time I had shrimp and grits and they are amazing. The fried catfish is OK, but a little bland for my taste. Glad to have seasoned fries to save the meal. My daughter got a fried shrimp basket and that was a no go for her. The shrimp were rubbery. My other daughter had a fried shrimp po boy. Per my daughter the shrimp tastes more like chicken nuggets and almost the entire bottom half of her sandwich had no shrimp. I got it to go and asked for extra tartar sauce... None in sight. My husband had red beans and rice and they were really yummy. I wish I had got some corn bread to go with them. Last but not least were the dirty balls. These are pretty tasty. Not sure what the two dipping sauces were but they added a nice touch.

Good food and good service. I'm not a real fan of Cajun food, so what do I do when my friends want to go to Jack's? I get a burger, that's what. And they're pretty good, too. I've had the Plane Ole Cheeseburger and the Debris Burger, both of which were excellent. The Dirty Balls are pretty darned tasty too as are their hushpuppies. If you're not into seasoned fries, you can request regular fries.

It might not look like much when you first walk in, but this is a fabulous restaurant. Good seafood and Cajun fare, lots of beer on top and custom cocktails. Best Po-boy I've had in Dallas.
