Rockfish Seafood Grill

We went on a Friday night and they were very busy. The bartender(male) gave us free drinks(iced tea & a coke). So nice. Our waiter was the BEST! Ask for Kevin, he talks like a surfer dude and is polite & funny. Food was good as always. One of our favorite places in McKinney for chain restaurants.

This place is amazing! The food is by far one of the best from any restaurant I’ve ever been too. The manager even came to our table personally, and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. The fish & crab was super fresh. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The prices are extremely reasonable & has some wonderful specials that exceeded our expectations. We have found our new favorite restaurant!!! Thanks Rockfish!

Food is four stars good. However, service is three stars slow. Worst part is the cleanliness. Both inside and outside there is a strong and repulsive smell of old frying grease. However, very worst is that the floor is so dirty that your shoes stick to it as you walk to your table. The host who seated us said he didn't know if or when they wash the floors -- which also look dirty. Problem is do you want to eat food from a kitchen when the front of the house is that dirty plus whole place smells like old dirty grease. I'm disappointed because other locations are clean. And the food is good.

Only after joining the food force do I realize how important these reviews are for businesses. In any case, the food not only came out beautiful but tasted as such. Very friendly waitress named Justine I believe. Very well done guys. ????????

Female greeter seemed oblivious. Wait staff was great to interact with however they did not check on us after meal was served. Food was great for the most part. The wife's rice was a little dry and bland. Portion size was decent for price. No wet naps for hand eaten seafood which is a must.
