Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Love this place!! I have done drive through orders during COVID-19 and received great customer care. Love the burgers here as they are juicy and always filled with lots of toppings. Several times the order has been wrong but i always order for 5+ people so it is understandable. The workers seem to be well prepared in the pandemic with gloves and masks at the drive through window. I will make this a regular stop for burgers.

Their staff is friendly, hard working, and have great attitude. The location has wonderful decor, and great layout. All together make for a great restaurant atmosphere, and an excellent dining experience.

Their food is well prepared and full of flavor.

The burger patties are crushed and get crispy edges making for an extreme tasty burger.

The burgers here are very tasty, the fries great. I like the different creamy dipping sauces for the fries. Also tried the hot dog previously and it was good. Quick service too. We'll be back soon. If you are in a big rush tho, the burgers do take awhile to cook to order and prepare so you may be waiting 5-10 minutes.

Ok. So after finally having the opportunity to take my family here to eat, I can give my unbiased and first hand review and opinion. I ordered the Double Meat Combo. My wife also ordered a Double, my son a Double Combo and my other son a Chicken Tender Combo.
The Good: All burgers were Hot and Fresh. Good flavor and veggies were crisp. Nothing special but still Good. Meat was way too thin. It would take 4 slices to equal a comparable Double Cheeseburger and various competitors. Chicken tenders were hot and crispy and my son liked them.
Also I will compliment the staff. Of the 3 young people I spoke with, they were all friendly and courteous.
The Not so Good: The Fries they choose are a huge letdown. They are ultra thin and almost potato chip like. They were also extremely Salty!
That being said, the total was @ $30. The VALUE simply was not there. In fact, I will say that it is overpriced. We may try the Custard at a later time...

Freddy's is a fun place to take friends or family for a great steak burger, yummy fries, and a tasty dessert! The kid's meals are a great value (especially because they include a drink with them), and the adult menu items are plenty of food to fill you up.

The fries are my absolute favorite, and they even have a super tasty fry sauce for dipping too! If you like your fry sauces more spicy, they have a jalapeno version as well. They have sweet tea which is always a plus and makes a great refreshment during our hot summers here in McKinney.

Make sure to try one of their concrete creations for a tasty dessert too!
