Shawn our waiter was very polite, great personality. We had a huge bucket of shrimp , crawdads, sausage, corn and potatoes the cook ,seasoned it perfectly. Oh yes we got some bread with crab stuff on it, heck I could have eaten 2 baskets alone on that stuff. Yes alittle expensive but really good. They also had a basket of fries and catfish that will fill you up and is reasonably priced. Thank you for a Great experience.
I know this place to be better than it was last night. I have had there food enough time to know that the person watching over the gumbo last night was asleep because it had that scorched taste. The shrimp 🍤 and Catfish were excellent, so good she ordered another basket of catfish and fries 🍟 and said it was for her daughter. The manager was exceptionally helpful and nice. The waitress was very nice a little up in age it seemed so the longer than usual wait times were understandable. Overall I will return unless they read this and ban me for life. Give them a try, you will return.
The first time I came I tell you my experience was PHENOMENAL!!
My server Z was absolutely amazing! He was on top of everything and made sure my needs were talways taken care of. The other staff works really well together and they looked as though they have a great chemistry. The day I visited Z was training 2 other servers at the same time and still managed to have a smile on their face while being able to make us feel like we were the center of attention! 10/10 will definitely be coming back again
My husband's fried shrimp were rubbery. My granddaughter and I split the crab legs, and they were good. But what's with giving us packets of salt and pepper? There should be shakers or grinders. Also, they don't allow substitutions. Desserts were decent, but I like real strawberries on my strawberry cheesecake, and it just a drizzle of strawberry colored syrup. It wasn't that impressive. Won't be back.
Now, let me get started by saying I'm a huge Cajun food fanatic. I've traveled all throughout the south, finding such cuisine. This new restaurant just happened to open during my stay in Dallas. We even booked a hotel overnight just to wait for its grand opening. This place is AMAZING, not only is the place's theme super cute and authentic shore-side "view", but the food here tastes super fresh and obviously cooked by a professional chef. Definitely check this place out, and I will be coming back again to experience the richness of this restaurant!
