“The new Panera is open at 380 and Hardin. While we’ve eaten at a Panera many times in the past, this is a new eatery by our house so we decided to give it a go. The design and deco inside is very nice and slightly different from what others we’ve been to look like. The service, understandably new, leaves something to be desired still. I’m sure any kinks will be worked out as time passes and the crew gets used to working with each other. The food is typical of Panera so nothing really new here. I just wish their breads for sandwiches were softer! All of their breads are the type that is expected to have some crunch to it as it is, then you toast the darn thing and it’s almost a rock. Not enough cheese or veggies to soften the crunch. I usually avoid sandwiches here for that exact reason, but thought I would give it a try and see if there were any changes. If you’re a fan of Panera and have been, then you’ll be very happy with this new neighborhood addition. While it’s not completely off of our list, we are not exactly encouraged either.”

Pros: This place is easily accessible, has great workspace for studying/work, a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and, of course, delightful coffee. I got a 12 oz drip, and it did not disappoint in its full-bodied flavor and roast. Staff were prompt and friendly. Cons: Just keep in mind that you're visiting a local, getting-its-feet coffee shop, and its prices reflect that. Overall, I highly recommend this café if you're in the neighborhood.”

“Point of sale devices (pin pads) in the store are disgusting and unsanitary. I've asked the staff repeatedly to clean them with no luck. RecentIy, I was able to speak with a manager on duty about it and she claimed that she's tried but spraying sanitizer on it doesn't seem to help. She even agreed that they were filthy and said that she doesn't like touching them herself. Please grab a sponge, some soapy water and get them cleaned.”
