Tokyo Hayaci

The sushi is excellent. They provide a wide selection of traditional and experimental rolls. I haven't been to the hibachi tables yet, but everyone sounds very pleased. The lunch boxes are great and filling

Went there for the very first time today. The food was average and did not have much taste. Service was average. We were there for about an hour and had to ask for the one refill that we received on our drinks. I still gave a better than average tip since the chef is working for tips as well. The hibachi chef was okay. He did not look overly excited to be there. He was in and out asap. As a matter of fact, the chef at the table next to us was cooking when we sat down and he was still entertaining his group when we left. I might have a different review if we had him. That being said, I will probably give it one more shot but if everything is the same, I won't be going back. Sad because it is 5 minutes from home but I would rather drive 30 minutes for better food and service.

This place is great. The only reason I say the food is very good and not excellent is because I was spoiled when I lived in Columbus, Georgia. The portions are fantastic but bigger there and they have more ingredients. But the Tokyo is absolutely fantastic. Great food, great atmosphere, great service and the sushi is fantastic as well.
