This is a great place to go if you're a fan of "Dallas." The tour guide will provide with information about the show, the cast, and the events that took place during it's filming.

Well, we were there @ 30 year's ago, they had a small gift shop, but we walked over to the main house, by the pool, when a nice man walked put of the house and asked if he could help us. He told us it was private property, turns out he was the owner, his name was J.R. Duncan.he was very nice to us and we talked alot about the Dallas show filming there and how they did it. We ended up buying a deed to one square inch of the south fork ranch. Lol, i still have the signed certificate. Love to visit it again someday. It's beautiful.

Great local landmark to visit. Beautiful land and very welcoming staff. Tour visitors are allowed to explore the ranch and it is very peaceful. We rediscovered the show and it was a lot of fun.

What a fun tour!! My husband and I attended a conference in Wylie, TX earlier this month and had a little free time. When I learned the original Southfork Ranch was located nearby and open to tours, we had to check it out! We are NOT sorry we did. Even if you only look around in the gift shop, there is a lot of memorabilia to enjoy and fun to be had. Every single person I ran into was delightful and welcoming.

If you're wondering if the paid tour is worth it, YES IT IS, especially if you were a fan (or even aware) of the TV show or its reboot. The man who took our photo was fun to talk to and welcomed us Hoosiers to the Lone Star State. A jolly man named Wilson Wilson (no joke) drove us from the gift shop to the main house and was so much fun to talk to. He really brightened our day.

When we got to the house, our tour guide (wish I had gotten her name!) was knowledgeable about the grounds and the show, and clearly loved her job. She made it a lot of fun.

We stopped in Miss Ellie's cafe for a drink and some ice cream after our tour. I would highly advise you to do the same.

Simply wonderful place. Took my niece for horse riding. The wrangler lady was an amazing host. Very kind, patient and professional. Great place to visit at Southfork Ranch!
