Chicken and Waffles were great. I think they were a bit busier than they were anticipating, so there was a bit of waiting. It’s difficult for one guy to handle all the orders he had to. Awesome atmosphere, and great food, I didn’t mind waiting at all.
Definitely a good spot. Wouldn't suggest coming here if you're in a hurry. Got a decently sized sandwich that was around $4.99 if my memory serves me correctly. Was for sure expecting it to be spicier given that it was habanero in flavor. Delicious either way. They also have a couple draft beers you can get for a dollar which is always legit.
I visited this place on a Saturday night and there were plenty of seats available. Ordered the chicken and waffles combo. The chicken was outstanding! When asked how spicy I'd like the chicken, I went with the default choice, 24. It was a tasty with the right amount of heat. A drink also came with the combo which was a pleasant surprise. The waffle was a little underwhelming though. It was a little on the thin side with a very liquidity, maple-favored syrup. I'd recommend maybe replacing the syrup with honey. And perhaps using a different type of waffle iron to make the waffles deeper and thicker. The meal did take a little bit of time to get to my table but this isn't a bad thing as all the food is make fresh to order. Although I didn't have anything to drink, there was a smaller bar section in the restaurant, stocked with some quality liquors. I would definitely go again.
