Overall yo can't go wrong with this place. The waitresses are nice and the food is good. I love this diner because they serve a wide variety of food. Not to mention the serving sizes are great and for the right price too! We used to come here almost every other lunch break. Looking forward to my next visit.
Excellent diner! Felt like an old timey diner in appearance, but excellent food. We had the mama's special and the 3 egg omelet. I asked for crispy has browns and they were cooked to perfection! The biscuits tasted like homemade. Everything was delicious.
Not bad at all. 2 eggs, hash browns, 3 slices of ???? which was thick and crisp, two biscuit s and sausage gravy. They try to cut you off at two cups of coffee but graciously filled the third when I asked. Total bill was ~ $11.05 plus tip. I wish they would do like IHop did / used to do and leave you with a pot of coffee.
The service was very good, the food was comfort food. I ordered fried chicken livers, and although they were small, they were good. My wife ordered a club sandwich and she liked it. Nice environment that's inviting and warm. It was not as clean as I would have hoped. The table across from me had some toast on the floor, and employees kept walking past it. Not the image I would want to share. Over all it was good, and we will certainly be back.
For delicious home cooking and service with a smile this is the place! Went there the other night craving some meat loaf and pie. Meat loaf and three sides were so tasty! The corn bread and rolls were so fresh! Our waitress Margaret was a pure delight. She was fast, friendly and asked if we were pleased with our meals. She could give high-end establishments a run for their money in the service arena. I have to say comparing Norma's pies to Mam's Daughter's Diner that Norma's cannot compete. The difference is Norma's barely has a sliver of filling compared to the high mound of meringue. A person wants to taste the filling. Not be teased. I really enjoyed my lemon icebox pie and my guest loved her coconut meringue pie. Anyway I cannot wait to go back to Mama's and enjoy breakfast this weekend with a smile at this down-home place. Thank you!
