Food wasn't bad, service however was not great. It was hard to flag down a waitress with only 5 covers in the restaurant. The decor is move and reminds you of being in a seafood joint. There is also a live music section which was not active at the time. Be aware you might have a hard time holding a conversation with your table.
A wonderful place to sit and relax, the staff are amazing as well as the owner and his wife, the kitchen staff are helpful and kind they are always willing to take your orders, even without the band the music fits the place perfectly, and the smell coming from the kitchen is divine. The centerpiece when you walk in is the swordfish on the wall which is real, once you step inside you can take a seat and relax and enjoy the food and the place! I highly highly recommend
This place to ANYONE who wants good seafood with friendly faces and good food!
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Besides the food being amazing (crawfish, crab legs, shrimp, and wings) the ambience was perfected by the lovely vocals of the house band! I most definitely will be back!
The coconut shrimp is delicious. The catfish is pretty good too. Now let's get to the good stuff. I had a generous pound of the snow crab pot. I chose the cajun spice level 5. I love spicy food and can withstand some heat. The level 5 is hotter than true buffalo wings. I was sweating and my mouth was burning. The spice totally overpowered the crab. Next time I will go with the shrimp at a lesser price but with the same amount of heat. FYI They go up to a level 15 heat!!!
The service is polite. They were short staffed when we went and the wait for our food was over 30 minutes. But the food was worth the wait. They only serve beer, no wine and no mixed drinks. And the beer selection is basic.
We went on a Friday around 6:30pm. There was a short wait for a table and about a 30 to 35 minute wait for our food.
