Subway Restaurants

The staff working lunch shift today was amazing. The gentleman fixing my salad seemed to notice the avocado looked ‘not so fresh’ which, if you are familiar with avocado, you know that eventually turns dark when exposed to oxygen for too long.

That’s normal for avocado and certainly not a big deal but what does impressive, was that he showed it to his female counterpart, who confirmed that is wasn’t up to par, with the quick shake of her head…and the gentleman promptly went back and grabbed some fresh avocado.

I eat out almost every day and I pay attention to these things. I’ve seen greedy business owners try to save money and serve food that is not fresh.

This place has very high standards and whoever does the hiring and training, did an excellent job with these folks. As the Terminator said...”I’ll be back!”

I like Subways in general. They are always clean, mostly healthy food, cheerful staff. Including this one, which I visit maybe once a month. Today the staff was a little off, the lady who made my sandwich was clearly not in a good mood and kept yelling into the back for someone to get out there. I did get my sandwich and the someone finally appeared so ok. I have to say this was unusual for this location and others I have visited in DFW.
