we ordered a to go but the place looks like a good place to hangout, chat and have some food. It’s a BYOB restaurant with a casual ambience. they are also in irving - both have that indian cinema vibe around the restaurant !
Madurai Thattu Kadai is an authentic South Indian restaurant in Plano. The food is cheap and tastes good. The menu is simple, nothing fancy. There are some old movie poster on the wall which might give it a retro Indian feel, but nothing flashy. There are three or four televisions which play South Indian songs. I liked the food there. We tried Bisibelle Bhath, Dosa. Both were good.
Authentic south Indian cuisine. Mostly spicy food. Dry, fried chicken, goat meat and shrimp. Goes really well with the BYOB! ????
Indian street food at affordable prices. But the most I love is the weekend unlimited thali. The food tastes like homely and you don’t have to worry much on oil n fat stuff ????
The people are cool and welcoming. I have been here many times and I am coming back again.
Authentic and traditional South Indian food. It's definitely not the international version of South Indian dish. I generally hate south Indian food but I like this restaurant. I will definitely be going there again. Service was also great.
