The food was decent. I had the Angus burger and it was very tasteful. The fries were warm, but not as warm as I would’ve preferred. The service was exceptional, though. Lauren did a fabulous job taking care of our party.
Food & Coffee was good. Need to offer off the menus items along with Sunday Brunch. Our group did not need a $23.95 brunch per person. Offered Breakfast items need to be in the $ 12.00 range.
We went in to find out what this new restaurant is all about, and we really liked what we saw. A great menu with many fine food choices, very pleasant ambiance , quieter than most Plano Restaurants, soft background music. The service was terrific we were served by Tina, ask for her, she is exceptional. I won’t judge the main course food yet, as we were only testing the waters , only had desert & coffee. But I can tell you that their deserts were superb. My wife had coconut pineapple cake and I had blueberry cake. Both were moist and delicious. A restaurant with deserts this good obviously has a master chef behind it. We are looking forward to coming back for dinner tomorrow.
We have watched with anticipation as this location has finally opened. We were greeted and quickly sat at a slightly awkward table against a brick column. We were served by a young man who made it quickly obvious to us was learning the trade and was not effectively trained. Keeping in mind that this is a restaurant that is a new location, we tried to overlook his awkward way and waited for our food. After a very long while, we did get our food from a food runner as we did not see the server until we were mostly done with our meals. I was definitely glad that the order was sent to the kitchen correctly and prepared as expected since we would have had to flag down one of the five or six other waitstaff members goofing off in the back hall. It was disappointing to not see anyone that resembled management as I would have liked to air my concerns with one of them. Clearing plates off the table across people still eating and having to ask for refills are things that are basic service errors that any front of house manager can remedy. This place has great potential but when the front of house is left run by the waitstaff things can and will go awry.
The staff to guest ratio was enough to support the business level. It was just really rough and a back to basics training is needed.
