Best Restaurant. Great service, great atmosphere and food cooked to perfection. Beats any other expensive restaurant. Money worth❤my family's fav
As of May 2020, it is open for dine-in as well as take out. Google shows it as being take out only, but they are open. Excellent food and great wait-staff.
My wife and I were raised in Texas but haven't lived there in a long time. Expats I guess you'd call us. Being in Plano for family Thanksgiving, we met some old friends for dinner our first night. It was Tuesday so there wasn't a band or that many diners, altho' the awesome bar was packed. None of our party is big on noise so not having a band was a blessing for us.
We were greeted in warm Texas-style and our server was great. The menu is pretty extensive and features standards like big burgers, chicken-fried steak and gravy, baby back ribs, several cuts of steak, fish tacos, and some Tex-Mex. My wife and I had a large lunch, so we split wild boar quesadillas and a chicken-fried chicken salad with smoky ranch. We got full enough that we had to skip the tempting desserts. The meal was excellent and bountiful. Decent selection of beers, mostly non-craft but I did enjoy a Lakewood Temptress, a local milk stout that is almost as good as Colorado's Left Hand Nitro.
Good place, we'd definitely go back.
Had dinner here at the bar one night. I had the half rack of baby back ribs with garlic mash and broccoli. The ribs were great with just the right amount of sauce. The garlic mash was good. The broccoli was a bit raw and cold so this didn't work for me. The portion size was huge and probably enough for two meals. Overall though a good meal. The bar tender was excellent and very attentive. There were a good selection of beers but would have liked more local craft beers. I would go here again though if I were back in the area.
We drove from Mansfield to try the 'best fried pickles' according to the observer. They were too greasy for me (hence the four stars), but the dipping sauce made up for it. Catfish and Enchiladas were delicious! Waiter was extremely nice and attentive.
