It's a good place to hangout.. I just visited for a week to Charlotte and met my friend and he took over their.. I like the atmospehere.. nice river front and boat drive.. had a couple of drinks which had their custom menu.. I really liked it.. must a hangover place.. love it..
We love this place! It's like a little hidden gem in the middle of the city! The atmosphere is so laid back and there is a great variety of restaurants. You can pick a patio or go indoors. It's also a great place to meet friends and just hangout on the boardwalk.
The Boardwalk is a great place to eat and drink in the North Plano area. Each restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating for a year round experience. With that said it is an ideal setting for al fresco dining and the spring and fall will be great times for that. The diverse offerings at The Boardwalk means there's something for everyone.
I love going to the Boardwalk. There is a great choice of cuisines; French, BBQ, burgers, and American. There was a seafood restaurant but it has gone out of business, but there is another one in Granite Park if I'm not mistaken. The area is clean, has plenty of seating. Great place for a relaxing date night. The only negative is that there's not shaded areas except for the outdoor seating of the various restaurants.
Union Bear, and some other places I have yet to visit. Nothing wrong with them. I just end up being drawn to my current go-to pub. One off the few breweries known to me that serves beers of their own making that are all superior to the third party offerings (also offered).
