A Chinese friend brought me to this place a couple weeks ago and it was excellent. I apparently raved about to the point my family surprised me and took me there on my birthday...and they all ended-up loving it too. Apparently this is a twist on Taiwanese street food with a Sichuanese flair called Malatang, or so I’m told. It’s similar to hot pot dishes but with some unique differences. Highly recommended.
It’s a hot pot but better. You have your personal bowl with the kind of broth you wish. They have a good variety of ingredientes and to prepare the sauce as you wish. The place is very nice and clean and the staff very friendly. It’s a place that I definitely return.
Like Ramen? Like to chose what veggies and meat and how much goes in? Give this a try!
Fill a bowl with whatever veggies, mushrooms, fish balls, shrimp, noodle, etc then pay by weight. They will cook it in secret bone ???? broth, Original, Medium, or Spicy (it's a little heavy on the chili).
Another great ???????? Taiwanese restaurant; sister stir in Monterrey Park, CA.
WARNING: Note how big the soup bowl is; you may want to share with your date, leaving room for King Fu Tea our Meet Fresh next door.
All the ingredients are so fresh! Best Ma La Tang we’ve ever had in US! The restaurant is super clean! We will definitely come back!
