Dickeys Barbecue Pit

It has been a very long time since I've been at a Dickeys. In the past, I have had bad meals at various Dickeys locations. I was not enthusiastic about going to this one either but ended up at this one and was pleasantly surprised. The brisket was tender and tasty. And, the jalapeno cheddar sausage was very good. The best surprise was the shoestring onion rings which were crispy and flavorful. I would have preferred more meat on the ribs but they also tasted very good. I might not go to other Dickeys locations but I would go back to this one.

This Dickey's barbecue was typical of most in the chain. The one exception is the extreme friendliness of all the folks who work there.The tables are frequently cleaned which is a good thing in a restaurant where the barbecue sauce constantly I get sticky on the table. Also like most ickes there's an ice cream machine to enjoy after your meal. There's plenty of parking at this location.

When it first opened this Dickeys was so so, however about a year as go or so things changed and have eaten there nearly every week and always had great experiences. CJ the guy who cuts the meat is very friendly. In fact all the staff are great.

Haven't been to a Dickey's in a while and decided to stop thru this one. The place is very clean and looks great inside. Overall, the food was delicious. The brisket was not dry and had a nice smokiness to it. The rub was not overpowering the taste of the meat which is nice. The sausage was a little spicy for my daughter but I found it to be good. The side were fresh but portions a little small. Will definitely be visiting them again.
