We have gone to Hat Creek since it opened and we keep going back. Yes, the burgers are a bit on the high side but you need to consider that their single is as large as a double in most places. I do not find them greasy unlike a few of the reviews. They are juicy, however, and you will drip.
Fries, tots, and sweet potato fries are all very good. Servings are quite large. Only complaint is that they don't have onion rings. Apparently they cannot get any that are (I believe) gluten free.
Did not know about half price Tuesday. Will have to check that out. Meanwhile, if you join their loyalty program you will get emails for free fried pickles or 1/2 price burgers.

Hat Creek has very tasty burgers and delicious shakes. I hear the chicken is good too, but who eats chicken at a burger place? But what's really important here is this place sells beer and has a playground for my kids to play on! The burgers are definitely worth the trip but if you have kids this is a great place to let them run around while you relax for a minute. Bonus, the playground is outside so none of that annoying McDonald's play land racket!

This is a great burger! I get mine as a lettuce wrap (a burger with lettuce as a bun). The sweet potato fries go well with their mustard sauce which is one of their 4 sauces. The fried pickles are The Best! The negative, to me, is there's not much space inside to eat and it's like eating at picnic tables so you might have to eat next to a stranger.

Honestly, the food was awesome. But it is Texas and a billion degrees out and most of the seating is outdoors. There is a tiny portion of the place in air conditioning. I'm 9 months
pregnant and eating outside in this heat is not doable. There are these huge fans to try to help with the heat but literally my salad leaves were blowing away out of my salad bowl. My daughter's fries blew off the table and it was such a hassle trying to eat without our food blowing away. Like I said. The food was really good. I had the best salad ever, and stole my daughter's sweet potato fries. Burgers looked good. They had a great play area for kids. I would just recommend not going until October or management to close the outdoor area windows and turn on the AC (which looked like they have that possibility) I don't know why they aren't doing that when it's still 100 degrees after 6 pm.
