“This capped off our Texas trip, was really fun. Definitely a family event. I know it may be some small details or not being from the area. I would say 2 things to improve guest experience. #1 maybe with your ticket reservation and or under the FAQs make a what to expect page. Explain that March nights get cold quick at times and that last 8 to 9 hour on metal seats is a killer. A heads up email to bring a blanket or a extra layer would be great (we had blankets and dressed appropriately, I just noticed people and families tapping out every 5 minutes as the night went on. #2 I know it may be atmosphere for the seating, however making some sort of lane to walk up and down for people trying to get to a seat or leave would be nice. I did see some older people struggling trying to weave through the crowd. And yes everyone helped and was polite but little tweaks can improve the flow. Was a fun end to a great week in Texas”

“I’m so excited to be here on opening day! There is a buzz of energy among all the Chili team members. They are working so well together and ensuring all of the customers are happy. We are enjoying the margaritas, chips and queso, along with our chicken fajitas. They were well prepared with children’s menus and crayons for the kiddos. We didn’t have to wait long at all for a table. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Great job, we are so glad you’re here in Bulverde/Spring Branch!!”

“This is a little special restaurant located in Bulverde, TX that from scratch produces the most delicious assortments of salads, sandwiches, pasta, & deserts. I highly recommend stopping by for breakfast and/or lunch. Even better is the catering as your guest will devour all the food. “We tried this restaurant for dinner. We had the Thai Basil Chicken, Thai Fried Rice with Shrimp, Red Curry Chicken, and Gyoza. Due to the social distancing the food was taken to go. When you enter the restaurant to pick up the food you can’t help but admire the building. It has a rustic beauty and is well appointed. While I sat waiting for my food to cook I admired the stone and woodwork throughout the building. I believe it would be a great place to dine in. After I received my order we went home and ate. It was all good (Thai fried rice was surprisingly the best with they gyoza being less than expected). My only complaint was the amount of rice given with the entrees. As for price, I think the food is a little more expensive than area Thai/Asian restaurants but it’s not unreasonable (~$1-2$ more per entree). See the menu and judge for yourself.”

And the staff and owners are friendly and really great. You will have one of your best dinning experiences ever at this new location. “Was excellent quality food served(all fresh & well put together-excellent tomato quality etc) & very pleasant staff..lots of newbies to Taco Bell working the front but always had a manager to help them & all the newbies had good demeanour & I credit that to them & management seeking out the right kind of people. They were busy each time/dinning room full & every1 being served looked happy. Kiosk system had some glitches first time I went & think programmer type people at corporate level got that resolved, but I don't typically like to do that. I want to talk to people anyways.”

“Group of 15+ on a Saturday night. Band (Doug & Glenn) was great. Room to dance. Service was great. Definitely worth the drive. Not very crowded for Sat night. Very cold outside and when the door opened all that freezing air came in. Might want to consider adding on an additional entry to the front to correct that. Nice beer selection. Menu could use some work - needs more variety. And I can't believe I'm saying this but larger portions. My husband and I split nachos. Our small serving came without jalapenos.”

“Kalo Catering made our wedding as perfect as we imagined! Everything was set up perfectly on the day, and all food came out when it was supposed to. We have been getting so many comments about how amazing the food was, even two weeks after the wedding!!! Mary was so easy to work with and offered suggestions and worked with us on the menu to make it exactly what we wanted! George, the head chef gave us an awesome private tasting and specified how everything would come out on the day. We asked if he could do something for a late night snack and he came up with the idea to do donut holes and coffee. They came out piping hot and were a huge hit with our guests. Kalo will be who we recommend for anyone having a wedding in Texas!! They were incredible! Thanks Kalo for making our day even more special!!”
