Elio's Osteria e Pizzeria

Service was quick and friendly. The food was excellent. We had the bruschetta, which was very, very tasty and bigger than we were expecting for an appetizer. Then we had the Genovese pizza, which was good, but had a little too much cheese for our taste. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely stop by for another great meal.

Supreme pizza was like a cloud of crisp dough and with a heavy blanket of cheese, plus toppings! 3 of us shared a pizza at the bar and we were full 2-3 slices each! Outstanding decor and a restaurant I strongly recommend! I just want my reviewers to just try a really good ITALIAN pizza. Enjoy!

If you like real Italian food, Elio's is a must visit. Started with the polpo (octopus salad) and it was good. The seasoning was perfect. The potatoes were crispy and delicious. The flash fried greens added just a little too much grasso in my opinion. Would love to see this on a bed of micro greens or baby lettuce. I was told by my very welcoming waitress that they could prepare it to order if I asked. Then had the gnocchi with the house boscaiola, a traditional sauce with mushrooms and peas. The sauce was delicious and the gnocchi tender. Finished with a cafe correto grappa and cannoli. Again a hit. The cannoli was the perfect sweetness. Can't wait to go back!

Jonathan was our server, he was friendly, attentive, and funny. He made our first visit pleasant. This is an Italian restaurant owned by the family of Genaro’s. It is located in Canyon Lake in Sattler, just a short drive to the Canyon Lake Dam. I ordered a Pizza and it was delicious. My wife ordered the Chicken Pesto Pasta and it did not disappoint. I am going again to try everything else. The bar is super nice and they are very friendly. I added their menu for convenience. You will enjoy it.
