Adobe Cafe

We frequent Adobe Cafe about once a week or 2. Love their fajita nachos, beef fajitas, hot sauce and chips! Last Friday, my wife and I ordered the Shrimp Adobe (because of Lent) and the shrimp were soft and soggy. The flavor was there but the shrimp were not. We will continue to order our regular items of fajita nachos and beef fajitas.

mexican food and the scene at this place is super good. I love it here. Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. The bill was appropriate. This place has positive reviews for a reason.

I had stopped here on the way home. Looking for a quick bite to eat. The service was great and the waitress was nice. Prices are decent servings are good. Would definitely recommend to anyone stopping through New Braunfels.

Seated immediately, drink and entree order taken quickly. Metal utensils ceramic plates, cloth napkins. Nice tile floor and colors inside. Christmas music playing at an appropriate volume. Large inside so probably a good place for groups.
Ordered chicken mole. Stated on menu it was chicken breast which was nice.
With my meal arrived it was huge could barely finish it all. Had two large chicken breast covered with a sweet but spicy moly sauce that I really liked. Rice and beans were pretty standard fare but the beans had a slight smoky flavor that I enjoyed. Waitress was courteous attentive and did a great job. I will definitely eat here again next time I am in town.

Great service and very good food. Nice decor and very nice clean bathrooms. Reasonable prices and several choices for the daily and weekday specials. We tried the daily combination special and tortilla soup. Also the grilled chicken salad. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.
