The Reel Seafood & Grill

My husband and I chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and unfortunately it didn’t live up to the reviews. The beer selection is very poor (only 2 beers), the calamari was served without marinara sauce because they ran out, the shrimp bisque was barely warm and definitely not worth the $8 for a small cup. The fried shrimp were actually pretty small but they were butterflied to make them look bigger. They tasted good, but small portion for the price, and the red beans and rice that was served on the side wassweet, which is not the flavor we like when it comes to red beans and rice. The grilled chicken pasta was really good! All that being said, I wish I would have chosen another place for such a special occasion!

I know most of you have visited The Reel for some delicious seafood, but did you know they do Sunday brunch!!! Wow! $3 Mimosas, $4 bloody marys, and a really great menu. Our waiter Luke was awesome too! This place continues to amaze me. Excellent food, excellent service, and great atmosphere. We had the Creme Brûlée French Toast and The Reel Texan breakfast. Both were delicious and very reasonably priced. This place is a REEL true hidden gem on Sunday mornings. Brunch starts at 10am! You will not be disappointed!

Went for lunch. Wife had shrimp and grits ($10). I had fish and chips ($11). Ample size portions and food was delicious. Staff friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Will definitely eat here again!

We were greeted and seated quickly. Our orders were taken and questions answered. Food was great and spicy in some cases. Service and atmosphere were great also. Had a wonderful time, will return in the future. Thank you!
