My girlfriend and I dined here on Easter Sunday and it was fantastic as usual. My girlfriend loves duck and Randy was very helpful in selecting the right dish and she had enough left over for a late night snack. My Penne Pasta with chicken was wonderfully tasteful and filling. The tortilla soup is awesome and one of my favorites. I love the old home atmosphere and have been coming here on occasion for at least 16 years. I will have to eat something less filling next time so I can try one of the homemade desserts. Thanks again Randy.
Don't tell anyone about this New Braunfels favorite dining spot--locals love it and want to keep it quiet. And for good reason! An adorable setting in restored buildings downtown with it's own little garden and shops; friendly service, consistently delicious and interesting food, and a good wine list. Expect a wait on Fridays & weekends, during summer tourist season and around holidays. Best way to cope is get a glass of wine & appetizer & enjoy the garden. But don't tell anyone.
Really just a great place for a fantastic meal!! We enjoyed all the items we ordered on the menu. The steak was absolutely awesome and I highly recommend it. The kids menu is a bit lacking but is still there and what is on the menu for them is great. The overall feel of the old building is truly cool with the shops outside on the walk from the parking lot adding an extra bonus to the experience.
Love this place! Food is always on point. Appetizers are good. They have a lunch menu. Huge wine variety. Pretty good beer selection. No spirits. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable on menu items. Atmosphere is nice, and chill. Good place to take a date, or whoever you want. Nice patio area, that is pet friendly. Price is reasonable ????????
My wife and I love coming here. It's part of downtown, but set off the main drag like a hidden gem. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. You can go for a fine dining experience without going broke. Try the fried brie with raspberry sauce.
