Beefy's On The Green

We absolutely love this place. This is a great meeting point between San Antonio and Austin so we bring our kids (from San Antonio) and let them run around with all their cousins (from austin) the play area while the adults get some time enjoying some truly delicious food and surprisingly great drinks. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Everything is great! Love the fried green beans and the strawberry margarita (made to order).

Nice place almost out in the middle of nowhere....but everybody that's out here that's where we want to be! The staff were friendly the food was great and, I ate on the recommendation of the girl that waited on me. The grilled chicken was very good!

Staff is nice and prompt. Had the chicken fried steak. The steak itself was good, but the country gravy was mediocre at best. IMHO you can't have a true chicken fried steak in Texas without a good country gravy. The gravy tasted like flour and water with no seasoning. There are better places to go for a chicken fried steak. The wife and kids had a cheese burger and fries, which they did enjoy. Not sure if I would go back for a second try.
