Hitchin' Post Restaurant

This little restaurant is in a Valerie truck stop off I-35 just north of Denton, TX. It has some of the friendliest and most downhome people ull ever meet! It was very refreshing to have someone like that serving us. The food is wonderful and EVERYTHING is handmade. The waitress was honest when we asked her opinion on somethings and told us what we felt like was a good answer. She showed no bias at all. The food reminded me if home and it will u too! ❤

This was one of my favorite eatin' stops for many years. It was usually breakfast or one of their Mexican food combinations. Food was always hot, delicious, and reasonably priced. You do have to watch out in the parking lot, though, because the last time I was there, a pothole the size of Nebraska tried to eat my truck. But the food was worth my stop, even if I had to get pulled out the next morning. I miss the regular run-throughs.

Get a lot of food for your money! When I took the picture I didn't even realize I had a plate loaded with pancakes on top of everything else for 9.99 the people are friendly and it is very old school if you're finicky you may not like this place. If you want to Stamp Out Hunger and keep two people from starving then walk in and enjoy????
